The agreement
These terms are between you and BlueNova Apps LLC (“we,” “us”). They cover the Centered iPhone app and this website, published under the studio name The MindfulSpaces. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the download from the App Store. If another app joins the studio, we will say so on this page.
By downloading or using Centered, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Centered lets you listen to affirmations and meditations, write a moment and hear a practice drafted from it, and keep a line on your Home Screen. Features vary between the free app and Centered+. We may change, limit, or retire a feature. The catalog and the voice you hear can change over time.
Not medical care
Centered is for personal reflection. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for a clinician, counselor, or emergency service. Nothing the app generates is a promise about your health, your relationships, or your future.
If you may hurt yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services. In the United States you can call or text 988. The app can show those resources. It will not contact them for you, and it will not continue a conversation that our safety check treats as an active crisis.
Who may use Centered
You need an Apple ID and a device that runs the app. Centered is not directed to children under 13. If you use Centered on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for that use.
What you write
You keep ownership of the text you type. You give BlueNova Apps LLC a limited permission to host, transmit, and process that text, and the lines generated from it, solely to provide Centered to you — including safety checks, drafting, and speech. That permission ends when the processing is finished, except for short-lived operational logs described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you submit. Do not send information you do not have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Use Centered for your own practice. Do not:
- Try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, except where the law forbids that limit.
- Use the drafting feature to produce content that sexualizes minors, or to plan violence or self-harm.
- Resell access, scrape the catalog, or present Centered’s output as medical care.
- Interfere with another person’s use of the app. There is no public feed; do not try to make one.
We may refuse a generation, or suspend access, when a request breaks these terms or creates a safety risk. Suspending access does not cancel an Apple subscription by itself. Manage that in your Apple ID settings.
Centered+
Centered+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold and billed by Apple, not by us. As of this effective date the plans offered in the app are:
- Monthly: $4.99 per month.
- Annual: $39.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible Apple IDs.
The price, trial length, and taxes shown on the App Store purchase sheet at the moment you confirm are the ones that apply. We may change prices later. Apple will tell you if a renewal price changes, and the new price applies only as Apple’s rules allow.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends, where Apple applies that rule.
Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Restore purchases from inside Centered if you reinstall or change phones under the same Apple ID.
The free app remains available without Centered+, with the limits shown in the app.
Our content
The app, the catalog we wrote, the name Centered, the name Centered+, our audio, and the look of the product belong to BlueNova Apps LLC or its licensors. These terms do not sell you that material. They give you a personal, non-transferable license to use it inside the app while you comply with these terms and Apple’s rules.
The MindfulSpaces is our studio name. BlueNova Apps LLC is the legal entity.
Disclaimers
Centered is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a draft will suit you, that audio will always play, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Some places do not allow these disclaimers. In those places, they apply only as far as the law permits.
Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BlueNova Apps LLC and its members will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Centered. Our total liability for a claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for Centered+ in the three months before the claim, or fifty US dollars, whichever is greater.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any right that cannot be waived.
Apple
You acknowledge that these terms are between you and BlueNova Apps LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Centered or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app itself under its own rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the license between you and us for the downloaded application, and may enforce it. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo, and that you are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If you keep using Centered after the new date, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where BlueNova Apps LLC is formed, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state are the venue for disputes, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home courts, and except for claims that must go through Apple.
